Favorite referencing style
APA referencing style is my favorite style, as this was the first one that I learned.
Why I became an editor
I worked as a commercial aircraft maintenance instructor. My extensive relationship with books and teaching have polished my skills of precise/concise writing, quick and flawless proofreading, and copy editing to bring ingenuity to the text. I have worked in proofreading, article writing, research/summaries, book editing, and more for over eight years. My knowledge and experience act as a catalyst when it comes to words.
Background and experience
I have been providing my services on different freelance platforms. I always feel motivated while proofreading different types of documents in US and British English dialects for my clients all around the globe.
Why I love proofreading and editing
Reading and writing have always been a source of peace for me. However, while proofreading a document, either on the job or as a freelancer, the cohesiveness of my mind and hands has always given fruitful results in the shape of an improved document. I have gained experience in the APA and Chicago referencing styles.
Favorite book:
The Spinner's Tale by Omar Shahid Hamid is my favorite book.
Hobbies:
I like to spend time with my family when I am not proofreading or writing my next novel.
Editing tips:
The first and foremost tip is to give full attention to the details. By doing this, one can easily find almost all the mistakes in a document.
