Favorite referencing style
Chicago is my favorite because it is more comprehensive than any other.
Why I became an editor
I have always been fascinated by languages. Reading also occupies a significant amount of my free time, and I frequently find grammar and usage mistakes without even having to look for them. In my view, there is always a better way to communicate an idea. So why be content with mediocrity? In a nutshell, I have decided to become an editor to improve the world of words as much as I can.
Background and experience
I have worked mostly as a structural engineer. However, I have also worked as a translator of technical and legal literature.
Why I love proofreading and editing
I am a perfectionist and I want texts to be clear, engaging, and correct.
Favorite book:
Hamlet by Shakespeare
Hobbies:
When I'm not proofreading, you can usually find me reading a book or hiking.
Editing tips:
Don't be ashamed to consult a dictionary.
