Why I became an editor
As an ESL teacher, I have helped many students improve their writing skills. I love how this makes a real difference to their lives by enabling them to say yes to opportunities.
Background and experience
I've been teaching ESOL for 20 years. I've helped several students and friends with their university and scholarship applications, as well as BA and MA theses.
Why I love proofreading and editing
Helping someone produce a great piece of writing and develop their skills in the process means that I get to make a real difference to someone's life and future.
Favorite book:
I don't have a favorite, but I read The Little Princess many times when I was a child!
Hobbies:
I love to travel, read, spend time in nature, exercise, and meditate.
Editing tips:
I like to look at the spelling first. I check each word without reading the document. That way, the letters can't hide from me!
