Why I became an editor
I am a visual artist, but my love for English and my passion for reading and writing drew me to proofreading. When I had the chance to take a proofreading course, I knew it was the perfect opportunity to help even more people!
Background and experience
My desire to help others with their writing wasn't fulfilled in my artistic role as a CG Animator, so I decided to start proofreading. I love reading and I hope to one day help creative writers with my services. I also enjoy helping people with English as a second language to correct their writing.
Why I love proofreading and editing
I love helping writers bring out the best in their work and ensuring their writing is a joy to read! I especially enjoy working with ESL individuals to make sure their ideas are well-communicated in English. I also like proofreading creative writing and getting to hear the writer's ideas and voice through their work.
Favorite book:
I have so many favorites! I think Howard's End by E.M. Forster might be my most favorite.
Hobbies:
When I'm not proofreading, I am creating visual art. I also love reading, studying languages, playing video games, and taking care of animals.
Editing tips:
I like to work on a document in sections to keep my eyes fresh and make sure I catch all the errors. Above all, I strive to maintain and support the author's voice.
